I have myself

When everyone else walks away

When circumstances leave me feeling confused

When people I thought I could count on let me down, I have myself

And when there is no one to hold or to be held by, I have myself to hold

When the world is rushing past me without glancing my way

I have myself to remember and to include and appreciate

I am a vessel of unconditional love

And not only for myself but to others.

How can I say that, despite feeling alone?

Because my cup runneth the over, as I stand in the zone 

Of enlightenment from the Divine, my line, my connection I receive from above, 

Not of my own but in collaboration with love
