Battlefield of My Hero's Journey

I was not sure if I wanted to share this journal entry, but I felt led to.  In preparing this post, I know I am past this anger and resentment, but in acknowledging that I felt these things, it is to acknowledge and accept all aspects of myself, even the when I am hurt, and these feelings at the time were part of my own hero's journey.  I cannot sweep them under the rug, and pretend I did not feel this way. These trials and tribulations with others have made me who I am today, and if can share and be used to help bring light to another's journey than these words have have had purpose, not only for me but for the collective.

You lied to me and stole from me

You were deceptive in your planned and unplanned ulterior motives

You the narcissist and me the gullible foolish one.

You took from me that which was mine, my dreams and gave the illusion to so many that it was yours, your dream - no

Through my anger and disbelief I found peace. I learned the most important lesson of all and that is how valuable I truly am

Thank you

Thank you for taking that which is not yours, truly, thank you

Thank you for using my weakness as a temporary gateway for your own perceived expansiveness

Thank you

After the manipulation, coercion, and illusion of defeat, I thank you, truly thank you for making me feel small and insignificant, and a throw away, because through it all I found an open road to myself and my freedom which is a magnificently endless commodity

That I own

Thank you, thank you

You will never take from me again.

I am always growing changing improving and expanding

Thank you

Go find your own greatness, and work your own dreams instead of taking someone’s else’s

This truth, my sword, has set me free
