Darkness and Light

I see the darkness, I see the light
And when in darkness, I seek the light
I'm neither fully one or then the other
I dance in between searching for the better
God help us all should we not take advantage of the good
God help us all if we've misunderstood our true poem in life
We must not settle
We must earnestly seek the light
For ourselves we do deserve
